Technician job app
Start and complete jobs, log materials, and clock time from the truck.
Your techs run their day from their phone: see the jobs at their branch, start and complete the ones assigned to them, and log the materials they use — one tap per part, pulled from warehouse stock.
No signal in the basement? Job updates and material logs are saved on the phone and sent once the tech is back online and taps sync — and a part logged twice by a retry is only counted once.
The same app carries the time clock for clocking in and out against a job, and trip tracking for mileage.
Highlights
- Start, complete, and log materials from the phone
- Keeps working with no signal — sync when back online
- Time clock against each job
- Mileage trip tracking
How it works
- The tech opens the app and sees the active jobs at their branch.
- They start the job they are assigned to when they arrive.
- They log each part they use; it comes off warehouse stock automatically.
- They complete the job — and the office sees it.
- If they were offline, everything they did is queued on the phone and sent when they sync.
Questions
Does it work without cell service?
Yes. Starting and completing jobs and logging materials are saved on the phone when there is no signal, and sent when the tech syncs back online.
Can techs change jobs that are not theirs?
Techs can see the active jobs at their branch, but only the assigned tech or crew can start, complete, or log materials on a job.
Can techs take photos, collect signatures, or take card payments in the app?
Not yet. Today the app covers jobs, materials, the time clock, and mileage. Customers pay by the payment link you text them.
