Invoicing & payments

Text a payment link, collect deposits, and get paid by card or bank.

Create an invoice, text the customer a secure payment link, and let them pay with a card or bank account on a hosted checkout — no app for them to download, and no card numbers passing through your office.

Ask for a deposit before the work starts. When the job is done, the paid deposit comes off the final invoice as a credit, so the customer only pays what is left.

Paid the old way? Record cash, check, or card payments against the invoice — partial payments included — and the balance updates. Each business is set up as its own merchant, so money lands in your account.

Highlights

  • Card or bank payment
  • Deposits credited to the final invoice
  • Record cash, check & partial payments

How it works

  1. Create the invoice with the customer, property, amount, tax, and due date.
  2. Text the customer a payment link — or copy the link and send it your own way.
  3. The customer opens the link and pays by card or bank on a secure hosted checkout.
  4. The payment is matched back to the invoice and the invoice is marked paid.
  5. Any deposit the customer already paid is applied as a credit on the invoice.

Questions

How do customers pay?

They tap the payment link you text them and pay with a card or bank account on a secure hosted checkout.

How do deposits work?

You request a deposit up front with its own payment link. Once it is paid, you can apply it as a credit on the final invoice.

Can I email invoices?

Not yet. Payment links go out by text today, and you can always copy the link and send it however you like.

Where does the money go?

Each business is set up as its own merchant account, so payments settle to your own bank account. The Payouts page, on the web and the phone, shows each deposit, its fees, and the payments and refunds it covers.
